Likes: His digimon, digimon in general, exploring/taking walks/riding his bike around, Japanese things (traditional and modern culture), nato+takoyaki, pop/rock/energetic songs, dramas (Korean, Japanese, and American), idols, learning about others/other cultures/Digimon, having friends
Dislikes: How weak he sees himself, when his digimon gets into trouble, not being strong/good enough, waiting the next week for episodes, being alone in a crowd, pessimistic people

Talents/Hobbies: Can understand a situation and diffuse it well/peace-keeper, Racing games, cooking Japn. food

Personality:
A very nice guy that’s forever a pushover. He tends to see the good in people and almost overly optimistic(has a hard time officially labeling people as ’bad’) but finds himself full of faults. Because he sees himself as pretty useless and pathetic, he tries his hardest to overcome it. Takeshi's confidence in everyone else is unfaltering but always faltering when it comes to himself, thus tends to shy away from taking leader positions or making decisions. Has a strong sense of right and wrong. Very sensitive/understanding to others and their feelings.

Family:
Mother + Father
*Very calm, chill people with traditional values. Very loving and family orientated. Mom is stay-at-home, gossips with neighborhood moms, and dotes on children all the time. Father works very hard at his job and tends to be the typical suit-and-tie. Tends to be very tired lookin a lot but only works so hard because he loves his family.
Chihiro (11)
*Takeshi's little sister that he adores. He spoils her and tries to help her all the time. Although adorable, Chihiro is very quiet and blank/poker faced and doesnt seem to especially react to Takeshi's constant loving. Looks out for Haku a lot though and seems very caring towards him.
Haku (9)
*Takeshi's little brother. Haku is very loud and obnoxious, always trying to grab everyone's attention. Takeshi finds him to be a little annoying and tiring usually and isnt nearly as affectionate to him. Haku knows this, but still sees Takeshi as his idol and always wanting to be like him and impress him.
(Yes, there is a triangle of sibling love here)

Digimon Partner:~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Personality: Usually just nicknamed short as 'Russ' or 'Labi', he is a very outgoing Digimon. Relatively very friendly, but overly confident and curious. Is always very loud and takes it upon himself to be the leader (which works well with Takeshi's laidback, follower attitude). Because of how upfront, honest, and go-getter personality, he can't sit still very well and runs off and around exploring by himself; which gets him in heaps of trouble. Tends to see life as more of a game and the goal to have as much fun as possible before it's over.

*Spitfire- Spits small beam of caramel-clear liquid
*Lick- Licks with large long tongue. (really just creeps the victim out)
Russomon (rookie digimon)
Attacks:
*Light Blast (small short blast/ball of light condensed light)
*Dark Grip (if he manages to get a good bite around somethin, it's a killer bite-giving off black sparks)
*Russ doesn't actually use his attacks that much however. He tends to just like to do a whole lot of rushing, clawing, and biting.

Relationships:
Tavis [link] : Welcomed Tavis when he came over to Japan and housed him for a few weeks to show him around Japan+Japanese culture until Tavis could get his own dorm in Sol. Pretty good buds.

History:
Takeshi was born and raised in suburban Tokyo. His mother was American and died when Takeshi was only 2 and doesn't remember her very well (Japanese father remarried later with his current, also Japanese mom. Effectively making Takeshi the only American blood in the family). When Takeshi grew up he was bullied a lot in elementary school for being so soft(and foreigner) and often kept to himself because of it. Though he didn't have many friends at school, he played with the kids (younger and older) in his neighborhood. In middle school, he became the typical nice-guy and gained friends a lot easier. Despite this, he still ended up being the kind of friend in a group that was always forgotten to invite. He got used to this though and found many ways to entertain himself; but still unable to shake the feeling of always being alone. Because of all of this, he has low selfconfidence and often thinks that there must be something wrong with him; just not good enough. ever.

Around his second year of middle school, he ran into Labimon. That day, Takeshi had once again been left out from his friend's outing. On the way home from school, he passed by the local karaoke place to see his friends laughing and joking around as they filed in. The overwhelming feeling of being alone hit him hard again and he decided to go to a quiet hill overlooking his home. Ofcourse by then he had heard and known the world-changing digimon. He also heard of the digidestined's amazing stories. How nice it must be... he thought, to have a digimon as your best friend. Takeshi had thought about the idea before, but a human partner had to be special;to be chosen. No way was he good enough to be chosen.
That's when his cellphone screen shined an extremely bright light. Suddenly a small, green Digimon had lept out from it, materializing right before him.

In the digital world, Labimon was hatched and raised like any other digimon. Growing up though, his rambunctious tendecies got him in a lot more trouble than not. Always being the obnoxious trouble-maker, he didn't make friends very easily. Eventually he vowed to run away, to explore the digital world; for adventure. Eventually it became obvious to Russomon that the ultimate adventure awaited for him in the human world and vigorously looked for a way to get there without a human partner (for what kind of human would pick him, such an annoying digimon. Besides, he got used to being on his own-a partner would only slow him down).

But upon finally finding a way to materialize in the human world, there sat a wide eyed boy staring at him. Almost instantly, the shard of courage appeared between them...

Now, the two are great friends, entering the Sol together. Eager for advenure and making new friends.
